Numbers of the British Red Squirrel have diminished over the years after the grey squirrel was introduced from America in the 1870's. There are only a few colonies around the country, usually on small offshore islands.

This video is entirely about the thriving colony on Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour, Dorset and their antics were filmed over many months.
